Heartland Youth Camp 2015. A fun time. The best time! I can't believe how great a week I had at this youth camp; everything was just awesomer than last year. My team: the Gideonites. Hosted by Mark Marriott, his wife, and a couple assistants. I actually knew some of these people on my team, and the people I didn't know I know now. :) They were all just so nice and encouraging... Sniff sniff.... They all will never know how much it meant to me. When we played volleyball and I got distracted, they didn't mind. When I had a cut on my hand, they helped me. And when I was trying to do quizzing and Bible Baseball, they encouraged me. It was so nice really. Conclusion: my team was amazing. Our cabin. The cabin we stayed in was so nice, unlike the falling apart one from last year. Our sleeping quarters: Hannah had the top bunkbed, Anna the bottom. Abby and Lauren shared the queen bed, while I got a twin bed all to myself. We actually put an extra mattress on top of mine, so my bed was a little higher. The only problem was I didn't bring enough pillows or blankets.... I woke up at 4 or 5 am searching for my jacket, and woke everyone up too. They still haven't forgiven me for that.. Haha. Our pantry: we had tons of snacks like veggie chips, fruit snacks, sun chips, "nasty" taffy, and peanut butter crackers. Plus more. The little cut on my hand looked really painful, because of this wrap bandage the nurse gave me. Haha. Just a regular bandaid wouldn't stay on, because of sweat and dirt and all that stuff. Besides, you kind of have to bend your hand, and the bandaid wants to come off. So I got a wrap to hold it on, and it worked... Mostly. And don't forget the services by Jonathan Heath- a guy who just said what God wanted us to hear. And so many people were helped, and their testimonies were so encouraging to me. I loved it. One time, the service lasted an hour and a half longer - we couldn't even have our afterglow. But it was so worth it, people. Mhm. Youth camp was a blast. Farewell, and until next year!
