I don't have a picture, but they are now putting the brick on the outside of the house. They did the trim, and it will take them three days to finish the brick. TACS/Shawnee Baptist competition was awesome! Megan placed first in Elementary Classical Piano Solo! I placed first in JH Classical Piano Solo, first in Creative Writing (a poem), and first in English. I placed third in Algebra, as well. Brandent got 2nd place in the same category as mine! Kimberly and Becky played a duet, and Christi and Rachel played a duet. Our band got first! We played "Nathan Hale Trilogy". Our group of eight freshman girls sang "Cross the Wide Missouri", and got 2nd place. Our choir and choral group also placed, as well as a quintet including Caroline, Anna Snelling, and Rachel Klotz :) Good job, everyone! Note. This post is very detailed so look at the captions. Another note: the workers put up drywall. It looks like a real house now. :) Another note: I am not bragging on this new house. I am just posting photos to inform you of the updates. Thank you to all my faithful readers! The first floor is all open, and the second floor has an open space as well. Now let's go upstairs. Now let's go down to the basement. I don't have pictures of the master bedroom, huge walk in closet, or giant bathroom. Sorry! That's the end of your tour! Thanks, folks! Please pray for the TACS competition where I have to play a piano solo - Nocturne in F minor, op 65. No 1 by Chopin. Date is March 12th. Please pray for Hilltop Ivories - Megan and I will be playing a quartet with Kimberly and Brandent. Song is "Be Thou My Vision". Date is March 10th. |
